Absolutely not. Level 1 is designed for complete beginners. Students don't need to know sheet music, have music theory background, or even know how to read music — RAMY's 7 Layers Sheet Music™ teaches notation as part of the method.
Not if you choose a bundle. The Oud Bundle ($1,400) includes The School of Oud Online's compatible oud, shipped worldwide with full warranty of arrival and a hard traveling case. If you already own an oud, enroll in the Online Only program.
